U.S. President Donald Trump is understood to have charged people $70,000 to have a photo with him at a campaign fundraiser at one of his hotels.
Guests could attend a private roundtable with the President of the United States for $100,000. But for those who only wanted dinner at the event at the Trump International Hotel in Washington DC on Wednesday night, it was reduced to $35,000.
Washington Post White House reporter Josh Dawsey tweeted a photo of the event invitation which highlighted the large costs. The money will go towards Trump Victory, a joint fundraising committee for the president’s 2020 presidential campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC).

Though the price is high, it isn't unheard of. In 2016, then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton charged at least $100,000 per head for a fundraising dinner in Nebraska. Former President Obama in 2012 headlined fundraising events that cost upwards of $35,800 per person.
